Our purpose is to create truly memorable safari experiences that allow guests to be part of something impactful, where the revenues generated by the lodges support conservation efforts in the Serengeti ecosystem and deliver tangible change to neighbouring communities. Our commitment to conservation is focused on supporting efforts in wildlife and biodiversity management, community upliftment and best-practice sustainability initiatives. Conservation in Africa is vital to the preservation of the continent's biodiversity, sustaining ecosystems that support millions of livelihoods.

Our dedication to community upliftment is driven by a commitment to recruitment from neighbouring communities wherever possible, local procurement and trade, and support for our partners whose objectives are to see surrounding villages thrive, through a focus on education, small enterprise development and conservation awareness.

Working together with our hospitality partner Singita, Grumeti’s lodges are committed to creating world-class experiences that respect and celebrate nature, inviting guests to be a part of meaningful change in the Serengeti ecosystem and to inspire in them a sense of awe for these pristine spaces.
